Sample Bidding Process

STEP 1
You must 1st become a registered “Bidder” to bid on property. It is completely free to register and to bid; you must have a screen name and password to bid. A registered “Bidder” has agreed to all terms and has given all needed information which includes Name, Address, required phone numbers, E-mail address and driver’s license number. You will also choose a user name and password. If you are a Buyer's Agent you will be asked to give the Buyer's name, phone and e-mail and our system will give them a unique client ID #. When the Buyer's Agent signs in using their own username and password, then when they get ready to place a bid it will ask which client or if you are bidding for yourself. Note: All information regarding the properties such as outbid notices will be sent to the Buyer's Agent and not the Buyer. All information given to BrayBid.com is confidential and will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent. After this process, you will now be able to bid. Each time you log into the site and want to bid, you will have to enter your user name and password to bid.
NOTE: To ensure you are of legal age to purchase real estate and you are a real person we must have your driver’s license number.

STEP 2
Find a property that you would like to bid on. Be sure to read all of the information pertaining to the property including any disclosures/conditions before bidding on the property. You may click on the "Bid Now" button, in the event you have not logged in, the system will ask you to do so.

STEP 3
When you place your bid, you can enter your current bid and a maximum bid amount and then click on confirm bid. Your bid is the minimum amount by which you are willing to pay for this property. The maximum bid is the highest price you are willing to pay for this property. You will not necessarily pay the amount of your maximum bid for the property. Braybid will increase your bid on your behalf using only as much of your bid as necessary to maintain your high bid position. Your maximum bid is kept confidential. MAXIMUM BID CANNOT BE REDUCED!!!
Buyer's Agent: This is where you will be asked who you are bidding for.
NOTE: The bid increment required on particular properties will be indicated on the property page.

STEP 4
Once your bid is placed, you will be taken to a confirmation page. This page will tell you; your bid was placed, along with letting you know if the reserve has been met or not. It will also let you know if you are the high bidder or not. If you are not the high bidder and another bidder has outbid you this means someone has put in a "Maximum Bid Amount". At the bottom of this confirmation page you will be able to either go back to the previous page where you placed your bid and enter another bid or a higher "Maximum Bid". You may choose to go back to that property page so you can watch the property. Be sure to refresh the page to see the current bid.
